I just went to the Harry and the Potters Summer Reading Kickoff concert at the Copley library. Woo-hoo! Wizard rock! Too bad about the troubles with the decidedly Muggle sound system, though. I didn't get to stay for very long because, you know, I'm supposed to be working. It was fun, though, and I'm glad I stopped by. And the (high school?) kids in front of me were dancing fiends, and I bought a t-shirt, and now I wish I'd bought a different t-shirt, and maybe I will have to go to another concert sometime soon and buy another t-shirt. Also, this guy asked me who they were, and I told him, and I told him a little about them, and he said, "What are you, their publicist?" which is, I suppose, better than "Are they your... brothers?" which was what I was asked the last time I volunteered information at a Harry and the Potters show.
Also, people were giving away free samples of Extra green-apple-flavor gum, and dude. Bad idea. I might have bought some on a whim, to see what it tasted like, but that is not the kind of product you want people to try before they buy because OMG was it nasty.
