So, it has been raining a little bit this evening, but mostly not too hard. Except when it first started raining and it poured incredibly hard for about five minutes. This happened while I was on the Ridiculously Long Pedestrian Traffic Crossover Bridge Dealie, which takes about four minutes to navigate from end to end. Bridges are not ideal places to be during freak cloudbursts; there's not a lot of cover on bridges, you know? And cabs rarely pass you on pedestrian bridges. I got soaked through. Bah. Of course, I'd left work about ten minutes early, and if I'd left on time I wouldn't have gotten caught in the rain. Foolish me.
