Went for a nice long walk today, over the dam then down the river to the Mass Ave bridge, then back home along the river. Very nice, although there were tons of little no-see-ums on the Cambridge side. The fireworks barge is in place, so that's all set. I think it was probably somewhere in the 5-6 mile range. I wonder how much I walk in a week, on average? Lately my hips have been getting sore when I walk a lot. I hope there's nothing wrong with me.

I have just done a massive tidying of my bedroom, partly because it was in desperate need of tidying and partly because I've misplaced my Museum of Science badge and one of my favorite pair of earrings. And they have totally failed to turn up. I'm just not sure where else to look. I know exactly where I left the earring, and it doesn't seem to be anywhere near, and the museum badge is on a whole big lanyard that shouldn't be able to hide so effectively. I think I need to do a massive cleaning out of the under-bed area, which is a pain. But I really need the badge and I miss the earring.
